As the Head of Commercial for Portugal, you will be a key representative of our commercial team, responsible for managing sales, big chains, and long-tail teams, as well as bringing revenue to Glovo through advertisements.

The Journey

  • Develop and implement a long-term commercial strategy for Portugal, aligning with the company's overall vision and goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including big chains, local businesses, and other partners
  • Drive sales growth and revenue expansion through innovative commercial initiatives and partnerships
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of commercial managers, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including growth marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution and maximize business outcomes

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles, preferably in fast-paced environments like startups, investment banking, top consulting firms, or top internet firms
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth, revenue expansion, and team leadership in complex, dynamic environments
  • Strong commercial acumen, with expertise in sales strategy, market analysis, and competitive intelligence
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and languages
