Our mission is to support the Bank in making well-informed decisions and ensure that risk policies approved by the Board of Directors are properly implemented and consistently followed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the collection and treatment of operational risk and ICT events and losses;
  • Leading the Bank's Risk Control Self-Assessment process, supporting and challenging the First Line of Defense in the identification, assessment and response of their risks;
  • Providing independent advice and assessment on products, services, systems, processes and third-parties;
  • Reporting to the Bank's management the operational risk metrics (KRI), losses, events and elaborating specific risk analysis;
  • Coordinating the Bank's risk reports to the shareholder;
  • Participating in the ICT and security risk management framework;
  • Computing operational risk capital regulatory and internal requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in advisory services for financial institutions or in a financial institution;
  • Degree in management, economics or finance;
  • Fluent in English;
  • Familiarity with regulatory topics such as: EBA's Operational Risk regulation and guidelines; CRR III; DORA; BCBS 239;
  • Understanding of information security best practices such as ISO 27001/2, NIST;
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL and PowerPoint;
  • Good knowledge of investment banking products;
  • Risk-oriented with strong analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong work ethic and commitment;
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work as a team;
  • Ability to work under pressure with demanding deadlines and to allocate time effectively.
