About the Job
We are seeking an Operational Risk and Control Specialist to join our team at Phiture. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the control framework relating to all operational risks, including fraud, third-party, conduct, compliance, regulatory, information, and communication technology risks.
- You will identify and assess risks and controls by ensuring that key operational units and processes, material risks, and risk mitigants are identified.
- Perform risk identification and assessment in liaison with independent control functions when needed, ensuring validation by the relevant management level and consistency with defined risk tolerance.
- Manage procedures by ensuring Group procedure requirements are implemented locally, complemented with local specificities (regulations, tools, organizations).
- Implement controls and action plans by defining and regularly updating control plans according to risk assessment outcomes, regulations, and other risk events.
- Document findings, recommendations, and permanent control actions upon notification or receipt of reports.
- Manage historical incidents by alerting management and independent control functions if needed on key incidents.
- Provide management support and governance by contributing to operational risk and permanent control committees.
