Data and Analytics Business Technology Director

Job Summary
The Director of Data and Analytics Business Technology at Organon is responsible for overseeing data-related initiatives, managing efficient analytics solution delivery, and ensuring the effective preparation of A.I.-ready data products for the Manufacturing, Research & Development, and Corporate functional areas within the company.
This position involves delivering valuable business outcomes by collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing data governance and architecture practices, and promoting data-driven decision-making. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the vision and drive the agenda for a modern, AI-ready data and analytics capability across Organon's ex-Commercial functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape the vision and drive the agenda for a modern, AI-ready data and analytics capability across Organon's ex-Commercial functions.
- Provide guidance and support to the company on data & analytics principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs to valuable data & analytics products.
- Define or harmonize strategies and roadmaps for the organization in alignment with desired business outcomes and regulatory requirements.
- Provide overall leadership and fulfill day-to-day management responsibilities for the functional data & analytics technology squads.
- Evaluate and select external vendors for data-related services.
- Drive delivery of data and analytics products through aligned squads and service factories.
- Implement Organon Data & Analytics data architecture and data governance policies, procedures, guidelines, and templates.
Requirements
- B.A./B.S. degree in Computer Information Sciences, Business Management, or related field.
- At least Ten years relevant experience in IT leadership position.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large, data-intensive technology solutions within a pharmaceutical company.
- Ability to develop, articulate, and build support around a long-term strategy and implement incremental milestones in support of that strategy.
- Direct experience with large-scale IT systems development, portfolio and program management, and financial management.
