Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for supporting your Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales through friendly and efficient customer service. You will also ensure our customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience by demonstrating Claire's products and assisting with processing store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales through customer service
- Process store deliveries and visual merchandising
- Assist with stock takes, markdowns, and promotions
- Demonstrate Claire's products
- Earn piercing (full training provided)
About You
To succeed in this role, you should possess some high school education, excellent verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, and a sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills. Additionally, you should be able to stand during scheduled shifts, maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly, and up to 75 lbs occasionally, as well as bend, stoop, and climb ladders and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers.
