Job Title: Cash Collector

At Siemens Mobility, we are seeking a highly skilled Cash Collector to join our team. As a Cash Collector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely collection of payments from customers, thereby maximizing cash flow and minimizing financial risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain contact with customers to resolve payment disputes and ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Manage customer account queries to ensure sales ledger balances are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Successfully manage due and overdue balances on customer accounts, maximizing on-time payment for all customers.
  • Timely report and escalate disputes and collection issues to the division sales team.
  • Notify business units of uncollectable debt risks and mitigate where possible.
  • Respond to incoming collection concerns from customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Internal communication and cooperation with AR, sales, credit management, contact business units, and sales departments.
  • Consistently improve processes and maximize cash flow for assigned portfolios.
  • Investigate unidentified payments and refund credit balances.
  • Participate in KPI trends, root cause analysis of mistakes/errors, and problem-solving.
  • Ensure global and E2E compliance for activities performed in the team.
  • Execute identified business and internal controls of collections processes.
  • Focus on customer service, ensuring good communication levels to identify and resolve problems on customer accounts.
Requirements:
  • Native/Fluent Spanish and good knowledge of English.
  • Degree/Experience in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar, and/or relevant work experience in Opportunity to Cash.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including SAP and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • A continuous learning attitude.
  • Able to propose and implement improvements in procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong customer-focused attitude with a commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as a team member.
