Accounting and Reporting Specialist
About the Role
Located in Portugal, this position offers a hybrid remote and office setup with Siemens Energy.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Process Analyst to support our closing and reporting tools, perform data analysis, and collaborate with global colleagues. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimized usage of our closing and reporting tools, enabling automation and data validations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance and development of our closing and reporting tools.
- Perform data analysis using SAP systems and related tools.
- Collaborate with global colleagues to achieve team goals.
- Act as a data steward and perform data quality controls.
- Support digitalization initiatives and contribute to the transition to SAP S4Hana.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in financial processes, accounting, and reporting.
- Degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Finance, or similar field.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Mandatory fluency in English; proficiency in German and/or Portuguese is an advantage.
- Strong SAP skills, with Blackline Smart Close being an added advantage.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This compensation package reflects the cost of living in Lisbon and the level of expertise required for the position.
