About the Role

Squrespace's Help Experience team is seeking a skilled Senior Full Stack Developer to join their Dublin office. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate with Staff Engineers, Data Analysts, and Customer Operations department to address complex technical challenges, leveraging Squarespace's expanding Cloud-native footprint and cutting-edge technologies like Generative AI.

The Help Experience team aims to empower customers' business growth through an integrated support platform combining personalized self-help guidance with one-on-one support. This platform provides essential tools and assistance for customers to succeed while enhancing operational efficiency. Our chatbot processes millions of messages daily, and our help centre receives over a million visits daily.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Work with Product and Design to build new applications, add new features to existing applications, and maintain the health of our diverse tech stack.
  • Collaborate on projects to support Customer Operations advisors and work with the team to implement technical improvements and develop the team's technical strategy.
About You

We're looking for a developer with 3-5 years of experience, including 2+ years of programming experience in JavaScript (we use React). Proficiency in backend object-oriented programming (mainly Python with some Java) is required. You should have a solid understanding of building reliable, usable, and performant full-stack applications. Experience with different datastores such as Postgres, Mongo, Redis, and Elasticsearch is also necessary.

You'll be part of a geographically dispersed team between NYC and Dublin, working from our Dublin office 3 days a week. We offer a competitive salary range of $140,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
