Finance Manager for European Region

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead our accounting processes in the European region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with global accounting standards, and providing financial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial accounting and reporting processes, focusing on timely and accurate monthly consolidation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and group financial requirements, particularly for our German operations, including internal and external audits.
  • Support Local compliance as tax returns, and relevant filings (CIT, VAT, etc.) providing information to internal and external tax specialists.
  • Manage monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, addressing discrepancies with the team promptly.
  • Implement and manage cash flow forecasting and reporting for the business.
  • Maintain control over the fixed asset register and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Review and maintain close communication with the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure clean and accurate balances.
  • Account to Report activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, with an initial focus on German cost centres.
  • Collaborate with local teams, including HR and Customer Service, to provide financial insights and support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a multinational financial reporting environment.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA, CIMA) is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Fluent written and spoken English; Intermediate German is required due to the focus on Germany.
