Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planner to join our team in Airbus GBS, responsible for planning and controlling operational budgets.

Responsibilities
  • Target Management: Develop and manage targets for programs (non-recurring and recurring costs) through a converged process.
  • Workload Planning: Plan workload and workforce according to targets and function strategy.
  • Financial Planning: Drive financials and workload planning/forecasting processes, synthesizing plans and challenging contributions.
  • Reporting: Establish consolidated financial reporting, defining, harmonizing, and ensuring consistency and compliance, including tools.
  • Planning and Control: Ensure timely and meaningful planning and reporting.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze quantitative and qualitative data on performance against budgets/targets, highlighting discrepancies and risks/opportunities.
Requirements
  • A strong capacity to deliver accurate financial pictures with full data accuracy.
  • The ability to understand domain needs while maintaining consistency with higher-level guidance and financial targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of Accounting and Controlling principles.
  • A talent for agile, reliable, and fast data management.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, driven by deliverables, able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to switch between big-picture and detailed views.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Ethics and compliance adherence is a must, with a clear understanding of rules around data confidentiality.
