Customer Experience Strategist

Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Experience Strategist to join our team at Indie Campers. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining CRM and referral strategies to increase customer conversion, retention, loyalty, and ultimately revenue.
About the Role
- You will work closely with Product Marketing to scope CRM campaign needs linked to business development workstreams.
- You will build content and audiences for broadcast and targeted emails.
- You will ensure all email campaigns are accurate, tested, and deployed on time.
- You will monitor email deliverability and flag any issues as soon as they occur.
- You will use a test and learn methodology across all communications to learn more about our customers and become incrementally more effective.
- You will monitor campaign performance, report on results, and incorporate successes into future activity.
- You will build new customer journeys, combining learnings to date and new ideas to deliver on KPIs.
- You will optimize existing customer communications to increase conversion rates and improve customer experience and loyalty.
- You will develop and implement strategies to enhance the Referral Program, ensuring it aligns with overall business objectives and attracts high-quality referrals.
- You will monitor and analyze referral data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and recommend improvements to maximize engagement, conversion rates, and revenue.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in CRM marketing. Ideally also with experience in referral programs.
- Experience in e-commerce businesses with repeat purchase behavior and/or seasonally oriented.
- Comfortable with using CRM marketing platforms to build and deploy campaigns.
- Able to build and amend email templates using drag-and-drop, HTML, dynamic content, and personalization.
- Experience with building segments and campaigns within marketing automation software, ideally Ortto.
- Strong data-driven and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets, generate insights, and drive data-informed decisions to optimize CRM and referral program performance.
- Knowledge of data and regulations connected to usage of data.
- You thrive in fast-paced environments and feel comfortable with ever-changing situations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
About the Team
You will be joining our growth team in our HQ reporting directly to the CMO, and working very closely with product, tech, and the rest of the growth team.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
