At the Fundação Champalimaud, we are seeking a skilled Anatomical Pathology Specialist to join our dynamic team in the Pathology Department.

About the Role

This 12-month position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for histopathology and cytology to contribute to our cutting-edge research and patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gross examination, histology, cytology, and ancillary techniques in our state-of-the-art laboratory.

We seek candidates with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively with our multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects and develop your expertise in macroscopy, microscopy, and other laboratory tasks.

Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Anatomic Pathology, Cytology, or Thanatology;
  • Updated professional license;
  • Postgraduate training in Macroscopy (for Position A) or experience in cytology techniques (for Position B);
