Business Development Manager for Cradlepoint

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Cradlepoint. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable market share growth through business planning execution, pipeline management, and deep sales floor and customer enablement and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with the Business Unit and act aligned with the strategy from the vendor to develop business with the rest of the countries.
  • Support the development of strategies and ideas to assist business growth.
  • Ownership for building an accurate and detailed pipeline of deals within the Company's CRM system.
  • Weekly reporting to the vendor on sell-out activity, tracking performance of promotional activities and the deal pipeline.
  • Support the execution of business plans as required by the business development manager.
  • Support the execution of marketing plans as required by the Marketing Manager.
  • Identify training opportunities within customers and internal sales teams and address accordingly.
  • The point of escalation for customer care issues from the sales floor.
  • Communicate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions to customers and the internal sales teams.
  • Run call out days on the sales floor and/or the Business Unit sales teams.
  • Engage directly with customers depending on role requirements.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in the IT industry with channel and/or vendor at a business development level, ideally from a sales or product marketing background.
  • Clear understanding and strong orientation towards and experience in services and solution selling with strategic planning and business case development skills and experience.
  • Ability to create and conduct formal presentations and interact effectively with all levels of management, negotiate skillfully and promote/sell ideas persuasively, while at the same time thinking outside of the box.
  • Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
  • Build solid, effective working relationships with others.
  • Excel and Power Point skills.
  • Experience with IT Industry (Security vendors will be a plus).
  • High level of English (Required) Other EU Languages (a plus).
