Job Title: Senior Business Manager

Devoteam Portugal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Manager to join our team. As a Senior Business Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics to promote and sell our specific offering, aligning with the overall sales objectives and targets of the operating unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Business: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our services within target markets.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Become a trusted advisor for clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Presents with Impact: Showcase our offerings through compelling presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Closes Deals: Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collaborates Effectively: Work seamlessly with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing support.
  • Stays Ahead of the Curve: Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving cloud landscape, including market trends and competitor offerings.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or a related field (5 years minimum).
  • Experience in Time & Materials Business (Outsourcing).
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address client issues and challenges effectively.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute account plans to achieve objectives.
  • Experience in the IT sector in which the company operates can be a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques, including negotiation, closing deals, and upselling or cross-selling products/services.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, client needs, and internal processes.
  • Capability to speak, understand, read, and write English at a professional level.
