Strategic Operations Partner for People Excellence

We're looking for a Strategic Operations Partner to join our team in Lisbon. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of People & Culture (P&C) at Pleo, combining hands-on operational impact with strategic influence.
About the Role:
This role combines day-to-day P&C execution and long-term people strategy. As a Strategic Operations Partner, you'll be responsible for creating exceptional employee experiences while ensuring our people initiatives propel business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support: Administer day-to-day operational tasks such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll queries, and record maintenance, ensuring compliance with local employment laws.Service Desk Management: Handle P&C service desk inquiries and delegate P&C tickets to ensure efficient resolution.Policy Communication: Respond to employee inquiries and communicate P&C policies across the lifecycle, ensuring they comply with local regulations.Compliance: Ensure that all P&C operations adhere to local employment laws and internal policies.Strategic People Partnering:- People Strategy Development: Partner with Senior Strategic People Partners and leadership to develop people strategies that align with business goals.
- Leadership Coaching & Support: Offer feedback and coaching to leaders to enhance their leadership capabilities and ensure they effectively manage their teams.
- Organizational Health Initiatives: Collaborate with leadership on initiatives that promote a healthy, equitable, and inclusive workplace.
- Workforce Planning: Work with domain leads on future workforce planning, aligning talent strategies with business objectives.
- Project Management: Drive strategic P&C projects that address both current needs and future organizational growth.
Data and Insights:
Analyze workforce data to offer insights on trends, engagement, and performance. Provide regular reports to leadership to support decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You'll thrive in this role if you have Portuguese Employment Law Expertise, Stakeholder Influence & Relationship Building, Data Analytics & Metrics, Operational Excellence, Strategic Thinking, Resilience & Adaptability, and Leadership Development skills.
