Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SEO Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, excellent planning and organization skills, strategic and critical thinking abilities, and proficiency in project management and communication in English.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-value, relevant keywords for targeting;
• Optimize website content, structure, and meta data for improved on-page SEO;
• Manage technical SEO audits and implementations (sitemaps, robots.txt, schema markup, etc.).
• Execute local SEO tactics including Google Business Profile optimization, citation building, and location-specific content;
• Work in external link acquisition, preferably with established online content publishers or SEO agencies;
• Monitor and report on SEO performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations;
• Stay up-to-date on SEO industry trends, best practices, and search engine algorithm updates;
• Collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure integrated SEO efforts.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in SEO or an SEO-related role;
• Proficiency with SEO tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, etc.);
• Strong understanding of on-page, technical, local, and off-page SEO concepts;
• Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems;
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS;
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently;
• Solid analytical abilities to interpret data and draw actionable insights;
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Native Portuguese or Full Professional Proficiency;
• Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
