Joom, a pioneering e-commerce group founded in 2016, is revolutionizing the wholesale purchasing market with JoomPro, an end-to-end cross-border B2B marketplace. Our mission is to provide a seamless and efficient shopping experience for businesses worldwide, connecting them with factories in China and future markets like India, Bangladesh, and Turkey.

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Analyst to drive the global expansion of JoomPro into new countries. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to assess business models, macroeconomic trends, and logistical ecosystems across global markets, developing actionable strategies for market entry and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough market research, analyzing industry dynamics, competitive landscapes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Evaluate international trade infrastructure and logistical ecosystems for new markets.
  • Identify strategic opportunities and threats in global markets to inform market entry and expansion strategies.
  • Develop tailored, data-driven market entry strategies aligned with internal business competencies and external market requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute market-entry strategies and present comprehensive reports to key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy analysis, consulting, or related fields.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in interpreting data and understanding business metrics.
  • Proven experience working with international markets, preferably in e-commerce or cross-border trade.
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of financial modeling.
  • Experience with top consulting firms (e.g., Big 3).
