About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP SD Consultant to join our team at Sovos. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a global leader in tax compliance and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of Sovos software solutions, working closely with project managers and technical resources to achieve planned milestones. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing individual project activities to ensure completion within defined timelines;
  • Utilizing extensive product experience to ensure implementation meets local compliance requirements;
  • Applying product/technical and functional knowledge to guide customers on best practices to ensure software fulfills compliance requirements;
  • Guiding technical teams on troubleshooting based upon knowledge of product and local compliance requirements;
  • Assisting with light technical tasks such as PDF mapping adjustments as needed to fulfill customer commitments;
  • Driving testing phases according to customer needs and Sovos' best practices;
  • Communicating with internal and external project teams to ensure implementation activities are successful;
  • Utilizing product/technical and functional experience to assist project manager in controlling project scope, schedule, and costs;
  • Providing regular updates to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Managing change control and communicating impact in project scope; identifying issues and devising contingency plans;
  • Assisting project manager in creating and maintaining appropriate project documentation;
  • Ensuring project tasks are completed according to planning done by project manager and external stakeholders.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience;
  • Background working in a software or professional services company; e-transformation products (e-invoice, e-archive, e-ledger, etc.) are a plus;
  • SAP SD module functional and analysis knowledge;
  • BASIC understanding of SAP FI and MM modules;
  • Good level of English (reading, speaking, and writing);
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills and task coordination ability;
  • No restriction for domestic/international travel;
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple work assignments and projects; on-time and within budget;
  • Excellent customer service skills.
