Our Portfolio Management team manages approximately €350 million of assets (credits and shareholdings), implementing underwritten business plans and maximizing investor returns. As a Corporate Financial Asset Manager, you will work within our management team to ensure the successful implementation of strategic decisions, adherence to budgetary and schedule constraints, and the overall execution of the business plan.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Participating in the management of assets (credits and shareholdings), including designing restructuring plans;
  • Assisting the board and senior management of portfolio companies across a wide range of areas (financial, commercial, marketing, operational, etc.);
  • Supporting the board and senior management of portfolio companies in implementing internal standard procedures;
  • Contributing to financial modelling, reviewing assumptions, and preparing board/investor memoranda to support management decisions and strategic reviews;
  • Keeping financial models up to date based on the latest financial information and projections (e.g., sales, capital expenditure, operations, debt) and tracking budget execution;
  • Assisting in the production of investor reports and responding to investors' information requests related to financial matters;
  • Monitoring and anticipating investment capital needs, preparing capital calls and distributions;
  • Assisting with matters related to existing financings and securing new financing arrangements.

The selected candidate will integrate a team that manages credits and shareholdings of several companies in different sectors. To be successful in this role, you should have a Master's degree in Finance, Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, and 3+ years of experience in corporate restructuring, corporate finance, strategic management, or financial consulting roles, or in similar fields. You should also be proficient in financial modelling, have advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and excellent analytical skills and critical thinking, especially regarding data, assumptions, and strategy. Fluency in English and Portuguese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is essential. A high level of attention to detail and a desire to continually learn and develop are also required. Collaborative and open attitude, contributing to a positive workplace culture, and a strong sense of responsibility, project ownership, and ambition to grow into a comprehensive financial asset manager are highly valued.

This is a full-time position located in Lisbon, Portugal, with a hybrid remote work arrangement (2-3 days per week in the office).
