About the Role
As a Localization Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized game content in the Norwegian language. This includes reviewing translated text, images, and user interfaces for grammatical errors, cultural inconsistencies, and other issues. You will work closely with a global project team to ensure that the game meets the highest standards of quality and is free from errors and issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with a global project team to ensure the quality and accuracy of localized game content
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines
• Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions
• Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters
• Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation
Requirements:
• Fluency in Norwegian and English
• No experience required; training and support will be provided
• Strong cultural understanding of the Norwegian language and culture
• Computer literacy, particularly with Excel
• Robust Internet research skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience with using different software, applications, and websites
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and collaborate within project teams

• Competitive hourly rate of €7.23
• Work equipment provided by 2K (to be shipped to freelancer's home address)

• Work flexibly between 8:00 to 17:00 Portugal Time, Mondays through Fridays
