About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Norwegian Language Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Localization Quality Assurance team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of localized games for our clients. This is a full-time, part-time, or freelance opportunity to work on a range of exciting projects and develop your skills in the games industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our global project team to ensure the quality and accuracy of localized games.
- Identify and correct language errors, ensuring adherence to console manufacturer guidelines.
- Log details of errors and issues, providing improvement suggestions.
- Ensure accurate translation within context and maintain consistency in terminology and imagery.
- Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
- Write reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translation.
- Fluency in Norwegian and English.
- Strong cultural understanding of the language.
- Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
- Robust Internet research skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Previous experience with software, applications, and websites.
- Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate within project teams.
- You must be able to provide evidence of your right to work in Portugal. If you are located outside Portugal, a freelance contract will be applied.
