Job Overview

MPS seeks an experienced Senior Analog Circuit Design Engineer to join our team in Portugal. As a Staff level layout engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance analog circuits, including block-level design, simulation, and verification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop analog circuits using Cadence/Mentor tools
  • Perform thorough simulations and verifications of circuit designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analog and digital components
  • Develop and implement effective design strategies to reduce risk and improve efficiency
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess a solid understanding of analog and digital circuit theory, as well as experience in ADC design, Low-Noise Amplifier/Op-amp/RF design, and transistor-level circuit theory.

  • Minimum Master's Degree (M.S. or M.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Cadence/Mentor
  • Experience in mixed-mode system level simulation (AMS) on SOC is a plus
  • Familiarity with digital design flow, digital systems, and analog/digital interfaces is a plus
