**Job Description:**

At PT20 EIT Services Co. Portugal, Lda., we are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team of experts in designing, automating, and operating IT systems architectures for relevant companies.

We design, automate, and operate IT systems architectures for large-scale web environments with business-critical systems, providing cloud solutions and developing cool & useful DevOps automation tools. Our team keeps growing steadily with the best professionals in the IT sector.

As a member of our team, you'll be responsible for Cloud Technologies implementation and configuration. You will collaborate with our architects to code and deploy the solutions, while helping to operate and support these solutions in an efficient way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Azure Cloud Infrastructure solutions to support and enable the development and operations of Cloud.
  • Create and review Cloud solution designs, understanding their impact on associated infrastructure, network, and ensuring availability of supporting and enabling infrastructure from internal or external service providers.
  • Monitor, maintain, and support operational capacity, availability, and performance of Cloud solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective.
  • Deploy new projects in existing Cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive engineering discussions with Public Cloud service providers to forecast and right-size long-term capacity and performance requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • More than 2 years of experience in Design, Engineering roles for Systems analysis, and infrastructure & network design in web-scale environments.
  • Infrastructure & Network automation and configuration management tools.
  • Public cloud IaaS and PaaS deployment models and technologies.
  • Network knowledge and network management experience in large-scale Datacenter environment.
  • Cross-functional skills and ability to swap and perform adjacent roles and responsibilities at short notice.
  • Strong relationship-building, persuasion, and collaboration skills that drive effective constructive feedback and support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill difficult technical concepts into simple and actionable practices.
  • Experience in automation and IaaC (e.g. Terraform, Azure ARM, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.), version control (e.g. Git), CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, or TFS, or Travis CI), containers (e.g. Docker, kubernetes or OpenShift), infrastructure testing (e.g. ServerSpec), infrastructure security (e.g. OWASP ZAP), or test automation (e.g. Selenium or Gatling).

Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
