Financial Crime Analyst in Lisbon, Portugal

We are looking for a skilled German Transaction Monitoring Analyst to join our team in Lisbon.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months experience in Transaction Monitoring, SAR narrative drafting, or Compliance roles.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  1. Conducting timely and accurate in-depth investigations into any and all escalated observations of deviant behavior indicative of money laundering or terrorist financing.
  2. Assessing and escalating investigations resulting in the knowledge or suspicion of potential money laundering/terrorism financing to the relevant MLROs in a prompt and appropriate manner.
  3. Providing Authorities with structured and accurate intelligence when requested.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A strong understanding of AML and CTF typologies and regulatory obligations.
  2. Excellent analytical skills for efficiently collating and processing large sets of intelligence and data.
  3. Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect patterns and deviations.

This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary, including a base salary of 1950€ per month, meal allowance, FlexBen, health insurance, and a signature bonus of 3900€.
