Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting Incidents - Systematically identifying, analyzing, and resolving intricate issues within a network infrastructure to restore optimal functionality. It requires advanced knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software, as well as a methodical approach to isolate problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
- Incident Response - Detect and respond to network incidents, such as failures, performance degradation, and security breaches, in a timely manner. Diagnose and resolve network issues.
- Network Security - Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Configuration Management - Maintain and update network configurations, including IP addresses, subnets, routing tables, and firewall rules. Ensure that network devices are configured correctly.
- Performance Optimization - Analyze network traffic patterns and performance metrics to identify areas for optimization. Implement improvements to enhance network efficiency.
- Documentation - Create and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Patch Management - Perform firmware and software updates to network devices and systems to address security vulnerabilities and improve network stability.
- Collaboration - Work with other teams, including system admin, cybersecurity experts, and application developers.
- Emergency Response - Be available for on-call service to respond to network emergencies.
Requirements:
- More than 2 years of experience in network operations (mandatory requirement).
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar.
- Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are valued.
- Experience in network troubleshooting and implementing solutions (mandatory requirement).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript or others) and automation tools.
- Knowledge of network protocols and technologies (VLANs, TCP/IP, switching, routing).
- Knowledge of network security.
- Able to analyze network traffic patterns and performance data to identify issues and make data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Good communication skills (B2 intermediate level is a mandatory requirement).
