Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled administrative professionals to join our candidate registry. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to various departments and teams across the Government of Yukon.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Providing administrative and reception support, including word processing, scheduling meetings, and maintaining confidentiality
  • Coordinating travel arrangements and managing calendars
  • Maintaining paper and electronic filing and records systems
  • Providing client service in a busy environment
  • Performing accounting and/or financial functions, including accounts payable and receivable

Requirements:



  • Completion of coursework in office administration, business administration, or a related field
  • Recent experience providing administrative support, including word processing, scheduling meetings, and maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
