Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Reservations Agent to join our team. As the primary point of contact for incoming reservations, you will be responsible for processing requests efficiently while maintaining high standards of service. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will ensure that all guest inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all reservation requests within 24 hours, adhering to Corinthia's standards of excellence;
  • Ensure accurate entry of all reservations into our system;
  • Maintain organized filing systems for correspondence related to reservations;
  • Conduct regular checks on all reservations made by the Reservations Department;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and efficient resolution of issues;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key business partners and advise relevant teams as necessary;
  • Handle group and VIP reservations according to hotel policies and procedures;
  • Ensure all correspondence is readily available for arrivals and adjustments have been made;
  • Promote a proactive sales attitude and identify opportunities to maximize revenue;
  • Optimize revenue through effective sales strategies and occupancy management;
  • Adhere to room rate structures and related policies and procedures;
  • Manage tour operator reservations and allotments in accordance with relevant contracts and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work under pressure. Your experience in reservation management and customer service will enable you to provide exceptional support to our guests.
