At Webasto, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Lisbon. As a key member of our Business Service Center, you will be responsible for the operational management of our accounts payable team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure day-to-day business operations, including the execution of accounts payable tasks and management of escalations.
  • Take responsibility for service quality and KPIs of the accounts payable team.
  • Identify process standardization and improvement opportunities and collaborate on their implementation.
  • Manage a team of professionals and act as the AP business partner for entities within the team scope.
  • Support the transfer of activities from international legal entities into the service organization.
  • Train new employees and document processes with existing team members.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting with a deep understanding of accounts payable and VAT regulations.
  • First leadership experience and skills, including performance orientation, good communication skills, and assertiveness.
  • Hands-on mentality and fast customer-oriented problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong commitment, motivation, and high enthusiasm.
  • Advanced SAP FI knowledge and proficiency in MS Office tools.
  • Excellent English skills and a good understanding of Procure to Pay end-to-end processes.
