Reservations and Groups Manager

A highly skilled and experienced professional is sought to lead our Reservations, Groups, Meetings and Events team at Conrad Algarve. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:- Maximise occupancy levels through strategic revenue management and revenue strategy development
- Collaborate with the Sales and Events teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Implement effective reservations procedures to drive conversion ratios and achieve departmental targets
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the hotel's selling strategy
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to ensure the hotel remains competitive
- Participate in the organisation of hotel promotional activities and events
- Negotiate with groups and events to maximise results
- Support the GM&E team with the coordination of daily activities and communication
- Monitor and review daily GM&E activities to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Review commission reports and ensure timely responses to client requests
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a high-performing team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous sales and events experience, preferably in a hotel environment
- Complete graduate degree or MBA in Management or Hospitality
- Fluent English and a second language desirable
