About the Role
We're recruiting for a
Strategic Procurement Expert
to join our Lisbon Office, where you'll be part of a dynamic environment where your skills and ideas make a real impact. As a Strategic Procurement Expert, you'll support clients globally with the opportunity for international travel, providing flexible support to clients whether it is a rapid assessment, short-term savings realization, or embedding in a long-term partnership to deliver lasting and measurable value to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing complex workstreams or multiple smaller workstreams, often supported by junior resources
- Managing more junior consultants on projects, making sure Efficio methodologies and processes are followed
- Driving complex analysis where data is hard to access and using expertise to creatively develop conclusions and recommended solutions
- Playing a role in advising clients and designing solutions that address complex needs, achieve sustainable results, and demonstrate real impact
- Effectively managing and owning the relationship with senior stakeholders
- Planning and preparing documentation for own workstream
- Taking part in the recruitment process of potential junior consultants

Additional Skills and Experiences
- Fluency in a European language (Spanish, French, German, Italian), in addition to English
- Management consulting experience within a leading consultancy, ideally within procurement and/or supply chain
- Experience (or an interest) in strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, supply chain, operations, infrastructure, or capital projects
- Proven track record of working closely with senior client stakeholders
- Deep analytical skills and problem-solving skills, with the ability to isolate key issues and draw sound conclusions
- Strong grasp of detail and a 'hands-on' approach
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to confidently improve existing ways of working, recognize opportunities, and identify innovative solutions that add real value to clients
