Job Title: Congress Manager
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Congress Manager to join our team at the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the annual congress, e-congress, and World Day and Week of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Professional Congress Organiser (PCO) and serve as the main contact between the society and the PCO.
- Prepare comparison reports for future congress destinations.
- Negotiate contracts for the congress when needed.
- Contact faculty members when needed.
- Support the Scientific Chair and Committee for the preparation and revision of the scientific program.
- Manage the e-congress and World Day and Week of Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine, including contacting committees, answering participant queries, and negotiating venue contracts.
Requirements:
- University degree in Events Management, Business Administration, or similar education.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Strong communication skills in English, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
