We are a private association formed between Portuguese private and public partners, with the aim to gather the scattered capacities of the academic and industrial shareholders in the sector of health biotechnology. Our goal is to provide integrated services in drug discovery and screening, project design and implementation, clinical contract research and contract manufacturing.

**Job Description**

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Specialist to drive sales and partnerships in the pharma and biotech sector. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, visiting hospitals, laboratories, and innovation centers, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, setting up client meetings, and supporting the company's sales efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage new business opportunities within pharmaceutical, biotech, and healthcare sectors.
  • Actively visit hospitals, laboratories, and research centers to develop strategic partnerships.
  • Conduct prospecting through email campaigns, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
  • Organize and lead client meetings, managing agendas, presentations, and follow-ups.
  • Negotiate and close value-driven deals with potential customers.
  • Support internal sales strategies and track business milestones.
  • Manage CRM tools, track sales pipelines, and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at events, congresses, and networking meetings.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in sales or business development within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable being on the field, meeting clients in person.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel and participate in face-to-face client meetings.
  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
