Position Description
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer & Data Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs; architecting and implementing database solutions across multiple paradigms; optimizing database performance and query efficiency; creating and maintaining ETL pipelines; and implementing data migration strategies.

Key Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer & Data Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing microservices and REST/GraphQL APIs;
  • Architecting and implementing database solutions across multiple paradigms;
  • Optimizing database performance and query efficiency;
  • Creating and maintaining ETL pipelines;
  • Implementing data migration strategies.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer with either Python, Golang, or Node.Js/Express.Js;
  • Experience with multiple database types: relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL), document (MongoDB), vector DBs (Pinecone, Milvus, Weaviate, Qdrant, Chroma, FAISS (Meta), Vespa, pgvector), graph DBs, search engines (Elasticsearch), in-memory (Redis), time-series, and ledger databases;
  • Practical knowledge of database optimization techniques, sharding and partitioning, views and triggers, backup/restore procedures, and ETL processes;
  • Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure);
  • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and data lakes;
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools and CI/CD pipeline expertise;
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English.
