Job Description
As a Strategic Finance Expert, you will inherit the responsibility for holistic topics with Revenue or Costs area (Direct Costs, Acquisition & Retention Costs) for Mobile and Fixed Consumer. Your key objectives will include:
- To support decision-making by ensuring high-quality and robust business cases complemented with clear and actionable recommendations;
- To prepare and analyze Budget and Forecasts, challenging business unit inputs and developing high-quality, ambitious but realistic financial plans based on in-depth business knowledge of Consumer segment;
- To ensure insightful explanations of the Actuals, namely, deviations from the budget as well as the trends and seasonality of the Consumer business drivers and develop reporting that drives improvements in business strategy and operational efficiency;
- To proactively approach suggesting improvements and changes within the team and/or the business.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business solutions proactively towards Vodafone's strategic goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- University Degree and Master in Management, Finance or Economics;
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience;
- Analytical skills;
- Fluent in spoken and written Business English;
- Interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills;
- Ability to project manage and to handle various projects and ad-hoc requests simultaneously;
- Curious to learn and understand the overall business but also the ability to drive change;
- Advanced MS Office especially Excel and Power Point skills needed;
- International experience (academically or professionally) as a plus.
