Job Summary

We're seeking an IT Support Engineer to join our team for a support project. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to French-speaking users across various technologies.

Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support:
  • Provide Level 2/3 technical support to French-speaking users across various technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to batch scheduling (Control-M), distributed web and client-server architectures, Oracle databases (SQL), and Unix and Windows scripting.
Communication:
  • Effectively communicate technical information and solutions to both technical and non-technical users in French.
Problem Prevention:
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential problems before they impact users.
Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate effectively with other technical teams and squads to resolve complex issues.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, requests, and resolutions in the appropriate ticketing system.
Requirements
  1. Language Skills:
  • Fluency in French (written and spoken) is mandatory.
Experience:
  • Proven experience (3+ years preferred) providing technical support in a distributed environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in batch scheduling using Control-M.
  • Strong understanding of distributed web and client-server architectures.
  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases.
  • Proficiency in Unix and Windows scripting.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
