We are seeking a Senior/Expert Full Stack Developer with a passion for innovative cloud platform topics and the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI).

GenAI has emerged as a transformative force in society, with the ability to create, mimic, and innovate a wide range of domains. This has significant implications for enterprise software and ultimately SAP.

This role brings a unique opportunity to participate in shaping and delivering the future of GenAI capabilities across our Business Technology Platform (BTP). We are looking for a self-directed team player with deep coding knowledge and business acumen.

Join our international multi-disciplinary AI team, where you will be working closely with Architects, Data Engineers, UX designers, and many others. You'll be immersed in an environment that fosters innovation, with plentiful opportunities for personal growth and continuous learning.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Design and build stable and scalable AI-based solutions, PoCs, and first versions of new products & features. Make critical design decisions selecting underlying technologies.
  2. Iterate rapidly experimenting with GenAI, developing both front and backend components.
  3. Work alongside colleagues in a cross-functional team to develop and deliver modular, reusable components, ensuring they can be seamlessly integrated across a diverse array of cloud technology environments.
  4. Explore and assess new technologies in the field of generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-augmented development, tools, and infrastructure to evolve existing highly used functionalities and services in the cloud.
  5. Design, maintain, and optimize the framework for collecting, processing, transforming, and granting access to data for GenAI applications.
What You Bring
  1. Master's degree in computer science, or related field with 5+ years professional experience in Software Development.
  2. Strong experience building resilient distributed systems with relevant cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, BTP, AWS/Azure/GCP.
  3. Proficiency in modern programming languages and concepts (e.g. Go, TypeScript). Skilled with at least one strongly typed language. Experience developing both backend and frontend components.
  4. Experience with state-of-the-art software engineering methodologies, e.g., Test Driven Development, Domain Driven Design, continuous integration, DevOps.
  5. Ability to keep pace with GenAI technology shifts and solve problems creatively within a diverse team with different expertise backgrounds and perspectives.
  6. Familiarity with data-centric languages (Python), SQL databases (e.g., SAP HANA Cloud, PostgreSQL), and data modelling.
  7. Excellent communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.
