We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Human Resources professional to join our team at the AMGEN Capability Center Portugal. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to the HR department, onboard new hires, manage invoices and payments, and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations, and have experience in processing and validating payroll accurately and efficiently. They will also be proficient in SAP for the control of invoices and payments.
Responsibilities:
- Manage HR administrative tasks such as contracts, amendments, and parental leave.
- Manage designated HR administrative transactions in Workday.
- Serve as a liaison between the HR team, payroll, and HR Connect for HR operations and issues.
- Administer contracts and handle the creation and payments to external vendors.
- Evaluate employment contracts and local policies to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Support the administration of payroll and benefits.
- Communicate HR processes and benefits to each employee.
- Keep employee files up to date.
- Provide information for internal and external audits upon request.
Requirements:
- English – Business fluent
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or similar and 1 year of experience in similar roles OR High school diploma / GED and 2 years of experience in similar roles.
- Skilled in handling a wide range of HR administrative duties.
- Experienced in processing and validating payroll accurately and efficiently.
