Responsibilities:

1. Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources related issues.
2. Assist employees with internal and external transfer requests and procedures.
3. Monitor and assist managers/supervisors with hiring processes and issues.
4. Coordinate and conduct drug tests, reference checks, background checks, motor vehicle department checks, and social security number verification.
5. Maintain applicant flow records, drug test results, orientation, and transfer requests.
6. Create and maintain records for new employees and staff and input them into Human Resources information systems.
7. Assist with the orientation of new employees.
8. Monitor all hiring processes to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and company policies and standards.
9. Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records (e.g., interview documents, I-9).
10. Support payroll processing and record maintenance according to policies and procedures as needed.
11. Inform Human Resources managers of employee relations issues within the division or property.
12. Create and maintain filing systems.
13. Generate Human Resources data reports as needed, answer phones, and record messages.
14. Create and type correspondence using a computer.
15. Serve as a subject matter expert in Human Resources and participate in project teams.
16. Train new employees on Human Resources processes, programs, policies, information systems, etc.
17. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring that both your uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of company information.
18. Communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review documents accurately and timely, and answer phones using appropriate etiquette.
19. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
20. Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds (4.5 Kg) or less without assistance.
21. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification: None.
