Job Title: Cloud Data Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Data Operations Manager to lead our cloud data operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our internal Platform for Data Ingestion, ensuring smooth and efficient data workflows, and driving process improvements across the organization.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues, as well as maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for data processes and support procedures.

Success in this role requires strong leadership and technical expertise, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the cloud data operations team to oversee the day-to-day operations of the internal Platform for Data Ingestion.
  2. Develop and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for data processes and support procedures.
  4. Drive process improvements across the organization by identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and technical expertise in cloud data operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Experience with Databricks (or Spark) and/or Azure Resources.
  • Knowledge of monitoring strategies and observability practices.
  • Good communication skills in English.
