As a UI Artist Lead, you will have the opportunity to work closely with a talented team of artists, producers, game designers, and developers to create captivating content for our players. Your technical expertise and creativity will be instrumental in applying UI design principles, crafting visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces that leave a lasting impact on our business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing solutions, assets, and layouts that enable users to perform tasks with ease and satisfy their emotional needs.
- Collaborating closely with artists to maintain a consistent style throughout UI assets, while also working alongside UX designers to guide players' attention effectively.
- Innovating and exploring new ideas, but knowing when to adhere to established styles.
- Buidling knowledge of the industry and the company, and participating in opportunities to improve personal UI design skills as well as design processes on the team.
- Collaborating harmoniously with other crafts and exemplifying good communication.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:
- Imagination & a love for innovating.
- Flexibility & goal-oriented mindset.
- Creativity & a true passion for games.
- Proactive problem-solving capabilities.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Hands-on experience creating UI assets for casual and/or mobile games (mandatory, around 5+ years).
- The ability to create high-fidelity mockups, screens, and UI assets that clearly demonstrate a strong understanding of advanced graphic design principles, while still adhering to the product's overall style guide.
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per year (dependent on experience). Based in Portugal, this role offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the development of innovative games.
