**As part of your role, key responsibilities include**:
**Team Leadership**:
- Leading a team of workforce administration specialists supporting your region of responsibility, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery
- Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement
- Set performance goals and objectives for the team, conducting regular performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.
- Identify training and development needs and provide necessary training to enhance team members' skills.
**Workforce Administration**
- Overseeing and managing all aspects of day-to-day operations of the workforce administration function
- Act as a point of contact for escalated workforce administration issues and provide timely resolution
- Developing and maintaining local work instructions (LWIs) for workforce administration processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations related to workforce administration
- Monitoring and analyzing workforce data, metrics, and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations for enhancing operational efficiency
- Providing insights and recommendations to management based on data analysis to optimize workforce utilization and drive operational efficiency
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of workforce administration processes
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in employment laws to ensure compliance and recommend adjustments to policies and procedures as necessary
**Collaboration and Stakeholder Management**
- Collaborating with Global WFA Service Delivery Lead, HR IS and key stakeholders to develop and implement efficient processes and procedures to streamline workforce administration processes, resolve issues, and implement best practices related to workforce administration
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams, such as HR, Finance, IT and Global Operations, to understand their needs and ensure alignment and smooth execution of workforce administration activities
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to implement system enhancements or upgrades related to workforce administration tools and technologies
- Preparing reports, presentations, and analysis related to workforce administration activities for management review and decision-making
- Ensures team compliance with local legislation, including tax and social security
**What you can expect**:
We will be providing a 4-week induction and training period to engage you in everything that Convatec represents for our patients, customers, and employees and to upskill you in all the tools and systems you will leverage to deliver successful in this role.
You will be joining a newly formed shared services team, with opportunities to grow, within Workforce administration or wider HR functions.
- Team management experience
- Proven experience in workforce administration, HR operations (preferably in global context), or a similar role, with some experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Strong understanding of workforce administration processes
- Proficiency in HR management systems and workforce management tools
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws, regulations, and best practices related to workforce administration.
- Analytical thinker with attention to detail and innovative approach to root cause analysis, problem solving and process improvement
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements
