**The Work You'll Do**:
Sovos is purpose built for modern regulatory environments - an evolving, complex landscape in which global authorities are requiring increased visibility, faster reporting and greater control of business processes, in many cases at the transaction level.

Governments around the globe have embraced digitization to speed revenue collection, reduce fraud and close tax gaps. The Strategic Account Executive will have the opportunity to work with a truly global team to provide a technology solution for critical needs and problems that our global customers and new prospects face. This role will directly manage the selling of the Sovos Tax Compliance Platform for assigned prospects and accounts. Our solutions help clients become and stay compliant around the world
- More specifically you will:_
- Generate new business opportunities for global strategic accounts (F100) while effectively managing internal enablement resources and working full sales cycle opportunities from initial contact, to close and up-sell/cross-sell
- Develop and execute an account-based commercial strategy to increase sales opportunities within existing key customers
- Deliver profitable new business revenue in order to meet and exceed revenue targets and relevant quotas
- Create and nurture executive and C-Suite relationships with existing clients and prospects
- Build a year-over-year record of consistent performance and accountability using MEDDPICC for qualification and managing complex and technical sales into large global enterprises
- Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the tax compliance industry and the emerging competitive landscape
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management’s strategic decision-making

**What We Need From You**:

- Successful history of proven success selling SaaS-based platforms to large multi-national organizations through complex sales cycles, including selling different product lines to different business units
- Proven targeting, prospecting, and closing skills while achieving or exceeding revenue quotas for large multi country accounts
- Ability to present and speak knowledgably to the C-Suite level
- Employs a highly analytical approach to defining client outcomes and articulating value
- Ability to use facts and data to tell a value based story that leads to sales
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; paying attention to details
- Moderate (less than 50%) travel required; both domestic and international
