Job Purpose

The corporate accounting controller supports the Finance Manager in the day-to-day running of all the Finance Department's functions, including statutory reporting, financial and management accounting, taxation, cash management, and reporting.

**Responsibilities**:
Perform accounting postings in line with the applicable accounting standards;
Request the approval and posting of manual journal entries in the General Ledger;
Manage all interfaces between G/L Accounts and other systems (with Ariba and Concur);
**Ensure the following reconciliations**: PTO Accruals, Deferrals, Corporate Income Tax, VAT Clearings, Fixed Assets, and other accruals;
Perform analytical review and be able to explain in depth BS and PL the respective variances;
Process of preparation of standard financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, etc.), supplementary reports according to the accounting principles and group guidelines and tax declarations;
Preparation of external and internal Audit requests;
Control and explain Budget deviations;
Update the internal manual procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualifications in Accounting/Finance or related discipline;
English language (written and spoken) - mandatory;
Certified Accountant (is a plus);
5+ years experience in Accounting and Finance Reporting;
SAP S/4 HANA and (SAP BPC Reporting as a plus);
Advanced Microsoft Excel;
Demonstrate strong skills including communication, listening, and organization;
Strive for continuous improvement and development of systems and procedures;
Ability to multitask and set priorities;
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles (SNC and IFRS);
Pro-active approach to their work;
Integrity and trust;
Demonstrated commitment to, and successful achievement of business goals and outcomes;
