Global Accountant

**Introduction**:
HeiQ combines the flexibility and dynamism of a young and customer-oriented company with the professionalism of an international, UK stock market listed player. In order to continue our growth story, we are looking for an **experienced C**ertified Accountant** in our Services Center in Moreira da Maia in Portugal (100%). This Certified Account will work with HeiQ’s new global ERP (Odoo) for multiple international subsidiaries of the Group.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Recording of daily transactions
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
- Working with external payroll and taxation
- Administering tax, social security and supplier payments
- Dunning
- Recording bank transactions
- Positioning and reconciliating fixed assets
- Reviewing and posting month end accruals
- Executing depreciation runs
- Revaluating FX
- Managing master data
- Working with external accountants for tax and VAT reporting
- Preparing Group Reporting
- Providing support to the auditors whenever necessary
- Providing support, when necessary, on the preparation of VAT declaration and tax obligations
- Participating in continuous improvement processes (e.g., accounting processes, internal control process).

**You are**:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s graduate with a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or similar areas
- A Certified Accountant by the Portuguese Order of certified accountant - mandatory
- Highly motivated to join a dynamic and fast-growing group of companies

**You bring**:

- Fluency in Portuguese, English and German (written and spoken) and the ability to communicate with teams located in multiple geographical locations - mandatory
- At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, monthly close, financial reporting, shared service center and transferring process.
- Good knowledge MS Office, mainly Microsoft Excel
- A strong solution-oriented mind and attention to quality, accuracy and detail
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus
