1. ROLE PURPOSE

The Market Access Manager supports all activities and deliverables to obtain and maintain Market Access, Reimbursement and optimal Pricing for Pfizer’s products. He/She works with the cross-functional team to develop access strategies that are in line with the overall brand strategy and helps implement key activities targeted at external payer customers and influencers. The role builds on an integration of medical, scientific and economic competence to develop access strategies and implementation plans, in close partnership with
_Senior Market Access &HTA Manager._

4. Key Accountabilities
- Market Access
- Develop market access strategies, in alignment with _Senior Market Access &HTA Manager,_ ensuring fast time to market of new products
- Develop, submit and follow-up Reimbursement and Prior Evaluation dossiers, aligned with the approved market access strategy
- Review the Global/EU economic models, in order to align it with the Portuguese HE Guidelines and the specific orientations from INFARMED and support local adaptation
- Maintain a working collaboration with Pfizer’s international team concerning market access
- Maintain a working collaboration with local BUs and cross-functional teams
- Support the inclusion of Pfizer products in the National Hospital formulary and Hospitals formulary dossier
- Support the development of strategies that will allow business growth and benchmark the market access of key competitors.
- Establish strong working relationships with INFARMED
- Pricing
- Analyse Pricing Policies to ensure the alignment of local product prices with the Corporate Policies
- Submit PCRs, when needed, after local coordination with BUs and Finance Department
- Perform mandatory price reviews within the legally established timelines and ensure that internal price databases are kept up to date
- Follow the pricing evolution in the 4 reference countries and communicate impact to BUs and Finance
- Benchmark the pricing of key competitors

7. QUALIFICATIONS (i.e. Education, Experience, Technical Requirements)
- University degree or equivalent in Pharmacy, Economy or related areas e.g. BSc, MSc
- Post-Graduation or Master in Health Economics or related area is preferred
- Knowledge on Finance, Statistics and Epidemiology is preferred
- Understanding of the Portuguese and European Healthcare and Market Access Systems
- Experience in adapting Health Economic and Budget Impact Models is preferred
- Demonstration of analytical, problem-solving and quantitative skills
- Ability to work proactively in partnership, translating business situations into objectives and delivering results to meet needs
