**Planning Specialist**

**Mission**

As a business partner, you will collaborate in the integrated management of the refining value chain, from the inbound of raw materials to the outbound of products on the national and international markets, using the programming and optimization tools of the refining system, with the aim of maximizing the refining margin and creating value for Galp.

**What you'll do**
- Participating in the preparation of the short and medium-term Refining Plan, identifying the regime and mode of operation of the processing units, crude and intermediate treatment, import/export flows that lead to the maximization of value creation for the organization;
- Working as part of a team with the various stakeholders (Energy Management, refinery, logistics...) ensuring that the proposed solution (Plan) is feasible and actively contributing to its implementation;
- Drawing up crude oil rankings, providing tools to support Energy Management's procurement decisions;
- Participating in the preparation of sensitivity analyses on refining planning, in order to validate and/or challenge modeling, markets, procedural and/or logístical limitations, as a tool for supporting decisions and identifying opportunities for improvement.

**What you'll need**
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering;
- Experience in Refining (preferred);
- Customer and results-oriented;
- Analytical ability, planning, organization and a sense of responsibility;
- Initiative, agility and capacity for innovation;
- Detail-oriented and highly reliable;
- Good communication, influencing and persuasion skills;
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to cooperate and work as part of a team;
- Good basic computer skills: Office (emphasis on Excel), powerBI;
- VBA programming - Excel (preferred);
- Fluent in English.
