**Head of Benefits & Pensions EMEA (f/m/d) to be a key member of the Total Rewards team responsible for overseeing and managing the design, implementation and administration of employee benefit programs across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.**

**The preferred locations for this position are Portugal and Germany, alternatively in Poland or the UK**
**.**

**Position Summary**

**This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our organization's benefit offerings are competitive, compliant, and aligned with the company's overall strategic objectives. The Head of Benefits, EMEA will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and the benefits team to optimize our benefit programs.**

**The role also plays a crucial role in shaping the organization's total rewards strategy and ensuring that employees in the region receive competitive and meaningful benefit packages. By effectively managing benefit programs and staying up to date with regulatory changes, they will contribute to the overall employee engagement of our workforce in EMEA.**

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- As member of the Global Benefits & Pension Team leadership team, contribute to development of comprehensive benefits strategy globally
- You collaborate closely with the Head of TR regions for the regional benefits strategy development
- You are responsible to continuously evolve our benefits & pension portfolio, including developing and promoting well-being initiatives to support employees' physical, mental and financial health
- You lead the team of Country Benefits leads functionally and disciplinary, and coach and mentor the team
- You lead and coordinate regional benefits & pension governance activities, incl. implementation of policies and manage related processes, as well as M&A related activities
- You oversee relationships with benefits vendors, including insurers, retirement plan providers, and wellness program partners
- You negotiate contracts and service level agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality of services (for those on zone/regional level)
- You keep up to date with local and regional legislation and regulations related to employee benefits, ensuring all programs are compliant
- You are fostering employee engagement through dedicated employee engagement activities supporting employees to make informed decisions about their benefits
- You lead digitalization activities in your region
- You analyze benefits data, utilization, and costs to identify trends and opportunities for program enhancements or cost containment
- You develop and manage the benefits budget for the EMEA region, ensuring cost-effective and sustainable benefit programs
- You serve as a primary point of contact for regional HR and Finance leadership, as well as Zone Leadership for benefit topics
- You collaborate with counterparts in other regions to ensure global alignment and consistency in benefits programs and policies

**Your qualifications and experience**:

- You have a University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CEBS) is a plus
- You have extensive experience in benefits management, preferably in a multinational organization with exposure to EMEA region-specific benefits
- You have in-depth knowledge of EMEA benefits regulations and market practices
- You have strong project management and vendor management skills
