**People**
- Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
**Guest Experience**
- Respond to all guests requests for shuttle service in a prompt and courteous manner; assist guests with luggage while boarding and off loading the vehicle;
- Assist incoming and outgoing guests with transporting luggage to and from guest rooms. May secure, tag and store luggage at guest’s request;
- Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets and services to guest and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities;
- Respond appropriately to guest complains. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied guests;
- Perform other duties as assigned which may include but is not limited to accepting dry cleaning from guest and secure for pick up by dry cleaning company, delivering clean laundry or guest mail/messages, or sundry items to guest rooms and responding to other special requests.
**Responsible Business**
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
- Maintain god working relations with outside contacts
- Comply with federal, state and local laws regarding health, safety and alcohol services
- Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
**Requirements**:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and some guest service or driving experience preferred;
- Must speak fluent English;
- Other languages preferred;
- Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to;
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories;
- Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computers;
- Flexibility - night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job;
- Strength - sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling
