Shared Service Center | Accountant | R2R
We are currently recruiting for a Shared Service Center looking to expand its team. This position is focused on performing financial accounting activities including supporting closing and reporting and adherence to statutory requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist in maintenance, processing and production of month / year end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, journals and associated underlying schedules.

Support the preparation and review of period close entries, and general ledger accounts reconciliation and analysis

Support for the preparation and review of statutory accounts and financial statements

Support Intercompany reconciliations and disputes resolution

Support the production and review of balance sheets

Helping to maintain the fixed assets register

Maintaining documentation to ensure staff have access to current and compliant documents and policies

**What you'll need to succeed**:
Relevant degree (accounting, finance, economics)

Good accounting knowledge

Fluent English speaker

Ability to work in a changing and flexible organisation.

Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end

Experience of working in a shared services or global business services environment desirable
