**Key Responsibilities**:

- Accurate, timely, and efficient data entry and quality checking of cash receipts, including support for data cleansing and mass change projects.
- Responsible for premium collections, cheque deposits, direct debits, commissions payments, discounts, and other overpayments.
- Reconcile differences on client and broker accounts, disburse cash received, help recover and resolve overdue debts, and manage brokers and partners (banks, mutual funds) according to contract and intermediary specifics.
- Deliver exceptional service standards and KPIs.
- Liaise with internal and external parties to respond to and resolve queries within deadlines.
- Distribute monthly statements and overdue account correspondence, resolving questions promptly with limited complexity and short deadlines.
- Input regulations into the computer system, manage unpaid items, and handle each step of the financial procedures with limited complexity.
- Analyze Ageing reports and manage allocated portfolios.
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge, contributing to support and procedural best practices.
- Provide support, mentoring, and guidance if applicable.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

**Our must-haves**:

- Financial and/or accounting graduate.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Credit Control.
- Proficient in written and spoken French; English required, Portuguese is a plus.
- Good mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make effective decisions.
- Positive attitude, results-driven, energetic, and determined to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing and editing skills, attention to detail, and ability to produce quality work under pressure.
- Patience and professionalism in debt recovery, respecting clients.
- Intermediate/advanced Excel and Outlook skills.
